the adventures of Upperman: The beginning

John and shadow man were getting close to the arena, John thought that they were going in circles because he remembered them passing the same stop sign multiple times "Shadowman we been going in the direction for hours, were is this arena" John asked "well, the arena itself is very hidden, so that no ordinary human can find it, wait here it is" Shadowman said as they passed the 6th stop sign. Shadowman directed them to an alleyway, the same one they passed before, except this one had a door at the end of it "no way, that wasn't there before, that's got to be some sort of magic" John said as he was heading towards it "nope, just an illusion, the human eye will skip the smallest things, now come 'on" shadow man said as they knocked on the door someone talked through it "password" it said "iron ore's" he said. The door opened and they entered. The room was filled with people. Some were big with tattoos, others carried around guns, and it was just like a bar. They went up to the table and Shadowman said to the bartender "we are here for the arena" "I see, here's the key" the scruffy looking guy said. he handed Shadowman the key and John followed him to the back of the bar "what are we doing, this doesn't look like a arena" john asked "you can never be too carefully John, this is just to keep the arena more secret, it should be right on the other side of the door" Shadowman said as he used the key and pushed open the door. A great white light appeared as they entered, the room was bigger then it looked. The arena was as wide as a 3 buildings. The walls were made of stone, and in the middle of the arena floor was a drawing of a medallion closely resending Johns. There were many torches in here, and many people were standing in the outside of the arena. a tall, dark black haired man walked up to them and said "welcome, to the ARENA" he said in excitement, John new he was in the fight for his life

"Go and sign up John, I ill be in the crowd, don't disappoint me or any of our fellow hero's, fight clean, and remember take no mercy, your opponents wouldn't do the same for you, at least not in this arena" Shadowman said coldly as usefully. John waited in line, it didn't take very long to get to the front.John looked at the front, the figters were showing something to the sign up guys, and he was afrid, wat if Shadowman forgot to give him something. John finally got up to the table, the woman talked "name" she said. "John" John said "no, other name" she yelled. John obviously knew she meant a hero name, so the first thing that popped up was u boy "U boy" he said hastily "ID" she said. John was now confused, the lady saw he was and said "something that can ID yourself, anything showing you are of Supernatural decent" she said John looked, his medallion, he got it out, its dye had faded, now it was the gold medallion once again with some black paint on it "ahh, it is a pleasure I Can assure you" she said "can you just keep it on the down low" he said to her "no problem" she said as John walked away, the lady disobeyed his wishes and wrote down that he was a HOTU.

John went back to Shadowman, he said to him that it was safe to take off his disguise but not reveal his ID. So he toke it off, back in the original blue training clothes.

It toke a while before John got to fight, they waited match by match, until it was finally his turn "ok your up, go through the back like the others, DONT DISAPOINT ME" Shadowman yelled as he left. He went the way everyone else did; it was mostly for praise before the fight, kind of like wresting. "U boy, your up, just follow the candles" one of the guys said, as John walked he heard the announcer "all the way from the Y galaxy, is the might, the indestructible YIN pow" he said. John kept on walking, when he got to the Curtains he stopped and wait to be introduced "now your in for a treat tonight folks, mysterious source has told me a lot about the next fighter, coming from the U planet, comes The next Ultimate Hero, you heard the legends, now let me introduce the next Hero of the Universe, U BOY" the announcer said. The crowd was cheering more then ever, although shadow guy was not, he had his mad face on as John walked into the arena. "So your the HOTU, mmmmm... you don't look like one, yet again who does, prepare to die" the guy said yin pow was dressed like he had been all around the universe, by looking at him, you could tell he was older then his real age. Something was happing to the arena, it was stretching longer and spikes started surrounding it "what, no one told me this arena moved" John said as the spikes became taller and sharper. "come on guys, this isn't funny, I am not ready for this" he yelled "too bad hero, your going nowhere, its all or nothing from here, you should of thought of that before you entered" yin pow said as they heard the announcer say "go" yin pow ran towards John, he jumped out of the way as he counter attacked with power balls, yin pow throw spinning spikes at him, John ran to the other side of the arena, and jumped to the left. Then, without noticing, Yin was right next to John, Holding his sword steadily at Johns neck "you must not let your guard down, no matter what" Yin said as he put his sword away "no let us continue" He yelled as he got out two razor blades and started to slash at John.
The Announcer was getting really annoying, every time John got hit, he would say something about it, it was not helping him at all, and it was actually making the match worse. John didn't know what to do but dodge everything yin pow through at him.

Meanwhile Shadowmn was worried, this fight would determine how long it would take John to become a hero, and if he lost the match, then the blame would go towards him for leading John into a dangerous place, knowing full well it was way out of the kids lead. but Shadowman wanted to see the full potential in the Hotu form, the last time he saw it he couldn't believe his eyes, with this power he thought, they might have a chance to save eastwood and stop the war at the U-planet. Shadowman knew that John was the only person who could stop it.

Back on the arena, John was dodging everything he could, punches, weapons, and even power balls. he had to do something, it wouldn't be long in till he at tautly would get hit by something, so he toke one chance, when one of yin's power balls came, he counterattacked, and the power blasts of both john's and yin's hand where connected, now it was up to John to use as much strength as he could "what's this folks, a power serge, for those at home who don't know, its two heroes and or villains power connecting together, this match is heating up now" the announcer said "give up kid, you don't have a chance, I have been all around the universe" yin pow said. John couldn't take it anymore; he knew he wasn't allowed to, but it was out of his control, he suddenly forced so much, that he got into his hotu form. "what's this, a bright light, has yin pow defeated U boy, wait, no, its his Hotu form" the anncorcer said "I have searched all my life to see this, the next Hotu is here" yin pow said as he disconnected the power converger. john was floating in mid air, not knowing anything he was doing, John form was talking for him "all evil will parish" he said, John made the most powerfully power ball he had ever made. When it hit Yin pow, he was destroyed, no trace off him

This form did not last long, he suddenly fell from the sky and fainted, Shadowman ran as fast as he could as the crowd was frankly yelling and screaming in the arena, this gave him enough time to get John and get out.
