The glittering rise in popularity of beauty queen Adele Simmonds, Miss Universe 20xx, sparked the interest of eager journalist/columnist Felicity.

"...and this year's Miss Universe is..." Incessant drumroll barely shrouded the screams and cheers from the audience. The presenter winks conspiratorially at the camera. "AAAdele Simmondsssssssss!"
"Surprise, surprise."
Matt smiled at his flatmate's predictably cynical response. He carefully sampled a scaldingly hot spoonful of his homemade, unique spinach soup. "Well, you gotta admit she's gorgeous."
"People like her," said Felicity through gritted teeth, "is the reason why I'm stuck here researching nail polish remover." She rubbed her blood-red nails with the flimsy piece of alcohol-soaked cloth. "urrghhghhhhhhhh! This is hopeless."
She glanced helplessly at the draft on her screen. Loud, pink letters read "V-V-V-VANISH VARNISH!!!!! Just for you!!! Supergirl scouts for the perfect nail polish remover!!!!!" "Oi!. Put that down!" Matt ordered. "It's almost dinnertime and you have to try my super-healthy, Fortified Minerals (Copyrighted) Spinach Soup!"
Felicity grip on the chocolate tightened at the thought of Matt's Fortified Minerals Spinach Soup. She gulped the melting brown goo down quickly. "Can't wait!" She said weakly.
"Seriously. This soup will work wonders for your detox regime," Matt went on, "after my month-long spinach soup diet plan your skin will become flawless. Like Adele's!"
"Oh yeah, I'd do anything to be like her!" said Felicity in her perfect American Supergirl voice.
"Some people are just born beautiful, sweetheart," Matt clearly did not get the point. "All we can do is try."
Felicity rolled her eyes. "Actually," she mused, "where's Adele from?"
"Venezuela? They're always from Venezuela."
"Hmm." Felicity opened up her most trusted friend. "She's in the pageant as Miss Brunei..." She paused.
"Brunei, huh? She related to the sultan?"
Felicity didn't answer. Her most trusted friend did not fail her. Her eyes roamed greedily across the private investigator search page. "Adele Simmonds - Angel or Devil? The Many Unsolved Mysteries of The Most Beautiful Woman On Earth".
Her prolonged silence forced Matt to look up. "Hello? What's wrong?"
"Well..." Felicity started slowly. "She's in the pageant as Miss Brunei...but I can't seem to find any public records about her there?"
