Lost Causes and Dead Ends

"Go ahead and kill me." She managed to say. She was quickly running out of breath as she said it. Her head was beginning to fell light from lack of oxygen and the charm she had put on the dagger was taking her quickly if he didn't strangle her to death the dagger was.
Gaston released his grip and got up and left. He stormed away and left her bleeding gasping for breath. She zipped off her boot to reveal a huge gash in her leg. "How am I going to stop the bleeding?" She thought to herself. She was beginning to feel light headed from loss of blood.
Her heart was racing, the echo of her heart beat pounded in her ears. She had to collect her thoughts and think of something quickly. As she pushed back the fright in her mind she suddenly remembered a spell her mother had taught her. With out thinking she immediately recited it. The blood started to retrace itself back into the wound. She put her boot back on to cover up the wound the spell she had placed on the dagger caused her flesh to burn on contact. The smell from the burn on her leg was nauseating and that's the last thing she could remember.
