Tom's roommate Jim woke him up with a knock on the door.
"Hey, what happened to that girl that was over last night for like six hours?"
"I don't know, man. She went home. Go the fuck away."
Jim opened the door a little wider and took a step inside. "Where's that? On campus? Off?"
"Beats me. I don't even think she goes here. Didn't I say to leave me alone?" Tom covered his head with his blanket.
"Yeah, but fuck you. It's 10:30. Get your lazy ass up." Jim threw an empty beer bottle he picked up off the floor at Tom. He missed. But there was plenty of other ammo where that came from.
"I had a long night, man, leave me alone. I don't have classes on Monday, remember?"
"Long night, eh? Did you at least get something outta the deal?" he said, tossing another bottle, this time hitting the lump under the covers.
"Ow! Fuck off! No!"
"Too bad, man. She looked nice. See you later."
Tom was back asleep five minutes later.
