More.

Stacy had been driving for an hour and was not very happy about it. More than that, though, she was worried about her friend Emily. Stacy and Emily had grown up across the street from each other and had been good friends since they were in diapers. Sure, they had gotten in long fights before, but that was what made them such good friends. And now, when she was certain her parents were going to skin her alive for bringing the car back late, she was only worried about her friend. Being out of touch for this long was not like Emily at all. She tried to hide her grave concern from the rest of the girls.

Tori had gotten even more pissed off. "Well, this certainly isn't the right way. This is all woods and shit. I hate this fucking town, I hate this fucking school, I hate this fucking trip, and I fucking hate Emily. That bitch is in big trouble when we find her. If we ever get out of the woods and back into town that is."

The girls were silent for a while. Tori often went off the deep end like this, and it was always a good idea to shut your trap when she did. They were all a little mad, sure, but for the most part they felt like Stacy did - a little mad and a little nervous. They all had known Emily for various lengths of time, and none of them knew her to do something like this. But they had also never seen her fall for a guy as hard as she had this weekend, so maybe the equation had changed. Or maybe something was wrong. Something was probably wrong.

The girls' heads all pitched forward as Stacy slammed on the brakes. When their heads recovered, they saw the reason for the sudden stop. Up ahead there were two police cars on the side of the road with their flashing lights on. Parked next to them was a medical transport. And being loaded into the transport was a stretcher. And on that stretcher was a body.

Their hearts sank simultaneously. Emily.
