Bold, Italics, Centering and other formatting

posted by Lupert on Mon, May 14th, 08:04.

Hey guys,
Just signed up today and put the prologue of the story/novel i've been writing this year up.
What i was wondering was if there is, or could be, any way in which us authors are able to format our writings. 'Cause i use alot of italics and bold in my stories, and also the physical formatting of where text appears on the page is of importance for alternative narrative forms.
Hope you can either inform me of how to do this, or implement it if it isn't already.
Thanks heaps.

Hi Lupert

You have a good point about additional formatting. Originally we had a wysiwyg editor that allowed for advanced formatting. But there were a couple of problems when it came to making pdf books from some of the formatting, so we to the editor down until we could do it properly. We hope to fix it - though currently we're not too sure how long it may take.

However, if you want (though it may be painful) and if you're familiar with a little html, the following tags can be added to the text and give the desired result:

<strong>,<em>,<u>
