My fairy king

A young, dark-skinned messenger boy entered the throne room at a trot. He had never been here before, and noticed at once that the walls were made out of stone, not dirt as the usual livingholes. The giant cave was full of servants walking in all directions carrying treys, polishing the bronze statues and a few of them even flying around lightening the chandeliers. The messenger, Belenus, skidded to a halt about midway, bowed deeply towards the other end where the king sat on top of a giant diamond that was partly hidden in the mountain wall, and then continued to cross the hall at a fast jog, criss-crossing between the servants. He closed his thin, purple wings as he came closer, and kneeled in front of the throne.
